Format of MUNA
What is the format of a Rotary MUNA?
In the revised format, each school sends a six-student team (delegation) representing a UN member state, divided into three pairs, to debate separate resolutions. The third resolution is unprepared and will be handed out to delegations 30 minutes before the Model Assembly debate commences. This new Rotary MUNA structure promotes teamwork and aims to be an enjoyable yet challenging experience for all participants.
The event will start at 8.30 am and finish at 1:45 pm, and will include morning tea and lunch for students, teachers, parents, and Rotarians assisting with the event.
When will my resolution be debated?
Delegates should follow the event schedule and directions given by the Assembly President. The event will be timed to end as scheduled.

Will there be a flag parade?
Yes. This is a highlight of the Rotary-led MUNA. Delegations need to be at the venue by 8:30am for registration and to prepare for the flag parade. Flags are provided to the pair of delegates debating the first resolution. Other team members will be seated in the auditorium. Delegates will line up in alphabetical order of countries. Holding the flag, delegates walk onto the stage and present their flag to the Secretary General and Assembly President then take their seat in the assembly.
